Warren McKeon Dickson (WMD) set its foundations on 1 July 1969 in the Sutherland Shire

Initially Bob Warren practiced as a sole practitioner and subsequently a partnership was established when others including Peter McKeon joined the practice in 1972.

The Practice quickly grew from a single practitioner to a multi partner firm largely on the wave of property development occurring in Engadine, Helensburgh and Loftus located on the verge of the Royal National Park at that time.

Greg Dickson joined the partnership in 1982 and the firm name later became Warren McKeon Dickson.

Dean Groundwater was admitted to the partnership in 1995. Peter McKeon retired in 2004 and remained on as a Consultant until 2005.

Rebecca Flynn, Kevin Dwyer and Craig Pryor joined the partnership in 2005 having worked with the firm for over 5 years by that time.

In 2007, the 6 partner firm was incorporated as legal practice under the name Warren McKeon Dickson Lawyers Pty Limited. Bob Warren retired as a director of the legal practice in 2009 and is now a Senior Consultant with the firm.

Over the years, we have merged with a number of firms including: James W Orell & Co (1991), Shannon Danieletto Adler (1991), JJ Francis & Co (1994), Waters Solicitors (1995), WJ Barclay & Co (1997), Peter Saxton & Co (1997), Phillip Wood & Co (1997), Graeme V Collins & Associates (1998), DG Bowles & Co (2003), Ennis Smith & Bradbury (2005), Mohini Gunsekera (2006), Jeffrey M Jones (2007), Gale Witcombe (2008), John Moon (2009), Parbery & Nesbitt (2009) and Peter Tierney Pty Ltd (2011).

We held offices initially in Engadine, Caringbah and Miranda and have since evolved into a multi-region practice with over 20 lawyers operating our full time offices in Miranda, Wollongong, Ulladulla, Batemans Bay, Bega, Merimbula and Eden.

We retain a large client base in all areas of the Sutherland Shire and across Sydney's south, now stretching down the South Coast to the Victorian border.
