Background

Kathryn began her legal career in 1995 as a Legal Clerk.  She commenced her legal studies in the same year, initially through an Associate Degree in Law and later completing her Bachelor of Laws (Hons) in 2000 and her Master of Laws in 2005 at the University of Technology Sydney.

Kathryn worked in private practice in the corporate/commercial division of a Sydney law firm before travelling to the UK where she completed further studies and was admitted as a solicitor of England and Wales.
 
Whilst in the UK Kathryn worked for a year as an in-house lawyer at a FTSE 100 publicly listed company before accepting a role as General Counsel for the UK’s largest financial and accounting recruitment company.

Kathryn is admitted as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of New South Wales and commenced practice as a solicitor with Warren McKeon Dickson in 2011.

Having worked in both private practice and as in house counsel, Kathryn is able to provide practical advice that takes into account your business needs.
 

Kathryn has experience in risk management and compliance and has advised on a large range of corporate, commercial and employment matters.
 

Kathryn has experience advising clients on commercial matters and drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts, including business sale and purchase agreements, services agreements, agency and distribution agreements and terms and conditions of trade.
