Whether you are purchasing your first home or an investment property, a large commercial property or an interest in a business, the WMD Property Group is able to provide practical, effective and commercial advice in relation to all finance arrangements which may be required to assist you to achieve your objective. Financing transactions usually have a long lifespan and it is important that the parties are properly advised as to their position in relation to what can often seem like quite complex documentation.

The WMD Property Group can assist with the drafting of those documents and can provide practical and understandable explanations of the way the documents will effect you.

We also understand that regardless of what type of asset you are purchasing it is almost always the case that time is of the essence and we therefore provide a prompt and efficient service so that we can assist you to complete your purchase of the assets in a timely manner.

 

Refinance

A refinance takes place when an existing finance facility is replaced by a new finance facility which is most often being provided by a new bank or lender. We have considerable experience in providing advice to our clients who are either considering undertaking refinance or who have decided to implement a new finance arrangement and we are able to provide prompt and practical advice in relation to the terms and conditions of any new loan arrangement.

Refinances can be arranged in relation to the mortgage over a family home or multi million dollar facilities for businesses and in either case we are able to draw upon the experience we have had in these types of matters ensuring that our client’s interests are best protected.
In particular, there are certain duty exemptions which are available in a refinancing situation and it is important to make sure that those exemptions are taken advantage of when the refinance is being considered.

 

Equity Access Arrangements

It is often the case that our more senior clients find themselves in a position where they need to access the equity in the family home in order to provide finance arrangements for their day to day living or ongoing care. These type of equity access loan arrangements are quite complicated and they can have a significant financial impact on the value of the family property and the estate. We are able to provide clear and simple explanations of these documents so that our clients can be certain that they understand what the effects of the documents will be for them and for their families.
