Debt Collection

Attention: open in a new window. PrintE-mail

Warren McKeon Dickson has considerable experience in the collection of debts, both large and small scale. We pride ourselves on the determined and vigorous pursuit of debtors by the most time effective and cost efficient means available including a formal letter of demand or a creditor's statutory demand followed up by bankruptcy proceedings (for individual debtors) or orders for winding up (for debtor companies) or by commencing recovery proceedings and attempting to negotiate a prompt settlement of the debt on a commercial basis.

We recognise that it is imperative in running a business to prevent debtors restricting your cash flow by delaying or failing to pay your accounts. We are able to assist our commercial clients by assessing your current payment terms and drafting enforceable conditions of engagement for your contractors to ensure you retain possession or control of goods until payment is received and otherwise to ensure you have available every remedy at law for the collection of outstanding accounts and the legal and associated costs incurred in recovering delinquent accounts. We are also able to review your internal accounting and collection procedures for potential areas of improvement.

For personal debtors, we have systems in place to ensure efficient handling of debt collection procedures with the ability to delegate collection tasks to ensure the most effective means of recovering debts for you.
